Watch with your kid
Explain why your kid must not copy the river stunt.
Start with I Built A City To Save Kids From Illegal Labor. MrBeast's team builds homes, a school and clean water systems to help children leave illegal labor. Be ready to explain why those children work instead of attending school. Choose the full video over the 39-second Short for more detail about the project.
If your kid copies online challenges, check the river crossing at 11:36 regardless of age. Tell your kid not to copy the raft stunt.
What should parents watch for in MrBeast videos?
Are MrBeast's challenges safe to copy?
Your kid should not copy the raft crossing in MrBeast's extreme-places video.
In I Survived The Most Extreme Places On Earth, teams race through extreme environments for prize money. At 11:36, one team says its homemade raft is too small for everyone, then attempts the crossing anyway. By 12:15, the team is struggling against the current and has missed the landing point.
Ask your kid when the team should have stopped. Explain that a cash prize is not a reason to cross a river on an unsafe raft.
